Prime Minister No. 26

Deputy leader of People Power party (PPP) Somchai Wongsawat was elected prime minister by parliament as expected on Wednesday morning with a solid 298 votes from PPP and the coalition.

Thaksin verdict delayed

(BangkokPost.com) - The Supreme Court on Wednesday postponed its verdict on the land purchase case against ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra and Khunying Potjaman until Oct 21, because the couple should be present.

Risk for prime office market
